Chiranjeevi to compensate for Acharya Losses!

Update: 2022-05-01 06:44 GMT
Stars are taking high remunerations to act in big budget films as the collections for hit films are crossing Rs. 150 crores or Rs. 200 crores gross. And the opening day numbers are purely based on their star pull.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan take Rs. 35 crores for each film as per the reports suggest about Acharya remunerations. It is reported that they have charged close to Rs. 70 crores to give production rights to Matinee Entertainment after starting on Konidela Productions. They kept some non-theatrical rights close to that amount say reports.

As the film collapsed on the second day itself and did not get the opening number that they have hoped for, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have decided to compensate the distributors.

Trade is shocked to see such low buzz and openings for the film all over. They expected the movie to get an opening close to Khaidi No. 150, if not as much as RRR.  Jr. NTR and Ram Charan movie directed by Rajamouli broke records on opening day and Acharya did not even get 50% of that opening day number in Telugu States.

Distributors decided to go for KGF Chapter 2 ticket rates and that also did not help the movie to attract family audiences. Reviews and word of mouth have been worst ever for a big budget film in recent times.

Movie is expected to lose money more than Spyder and less than Radhe Shyam. So, Chiranjeevi offered to return Rs. 5 crores to distributors who lose big amounts and others will get Godfather distribution rights for lesser amounts.

Koratala Siva celebrated the "film success" on first day and he did not react to any other posts after the release, yet.
