The Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi was also one man who got floored by the huge hits of Director Jakkanna aka SS Rajamouli. Many Producers throng at his place with huge advances to make a film with this man. He picks the Producers slowly and goes by his promise.
Evidently Megastar wanted to cash in the new found Pan Indian craze of Director SS Rajamouli and thus made plans to produce a film with him and that was supposedly just after Bahubali franchise came to an end. SS Rajamouli has simply turned down Chiranjeevi's offer and went with DVV Danayya who gave advance to Rajamouli very long ago in the director's initial days. Seeing his gratitude Danayya was floored and thus came forward to make the film.
The Bahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda also tempted DVV Danayya with a single payment of huge sum to sell him the call sheets of the Director Rajamouli but Danayya denied the offer and strictly stood with SS Rajamouli.
It remains to be seen if Rajamouli does a film for Chiru in the near future. The project is very much on as RRR ends we will get the update!
