Are producers spending money for "Views"?

These days, Youtube views and Digital views have become a huge scale to determine the popularity of a film. Every hero, young to senior, upcoming to most craziest star, is looking to deliver the best possible teaser, trailer that can trend on social media and bring in lot of attention. Recently, Rajasekhar's PSV Garuda Vega Teaser has been released and as per the view count, it has gone viral with millions of views.

The teaser has secured 1 Million views in 24 hours and now, it stands at 5.5 Million views. This is a huge number and social media experts are smelling some kind of malpractice, to boost the views. These days, as digital marketing is the biggest issue, producers are spending more money on the bots that can improve the views on YouTube and other social media sites.

As per the reports, even Garuda Vega producers have spent so much on the view boosters. Already, they have spent more than the market capacity of Rajasekhar hoping to recover all that on the power of content. But Rajasekhar to latest generation is just an old actor who has some political ambitions and few issues with Mega family. Nome of his movies have been huge hits to establish his foot hold in Telugu Cinema, as a popular lead actor even today. Still, the movie has gone over budget by more than 15 crores as per the Film Nagar Talk and producers stopped giving the figures out after initial back lash over the monetary promotions. But pushing producers to spend so much after already bending their back so much seems a bit too harsh, isn't it?
