Tollywood hero Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident a couple of days ago. He was shifted to hospital and Sai Dharam Tej is undergoing treatment. The health bulletin released on Saturday said the hero is responding well to the treatment and his organs are working.

In this backdrop, the cops cleared all the airs on the accident and said at the time of the accident Sai Dharam Tej was driving his bike at a higher speed than the prescribed speed limit on the road where the mishap took place.
Madhapur DCP Venkateshwarlu said, while the prescribed limit was 30 km, Sai Dharam Tej drove his bike at a speed of 72kmph. Earlier too, a fine was imposed on Sai Dharam for overspeeding, he said.
He added that a case of rash and negligent driving is also filed against the actor. The case was filed at the Raidurgam police station going by the outcome of the evidence, he maintained.
Sai Dharam Tej tried to overtake an autorickshaw on the road. While doing so, the bike lost control. Due to this, Sai Dharam Tej and his vehicle were dragged on the road, the DCP added.
