Update: 2020-05-13 10:45 GMT
The whole World is facing a crisis due to the outbreak of Corona virus. All the businesses have come to a halt giving rise to an economic crisis around the globe. In India, the rupee value is shrinking and the whole country is in lock down now.

The movie industry is one such business to face huge losses due to Corona. It's the same from Hollywood to Tollywood. Here is the issue of Oscar Awards Ceremony. The 93rd Academy Awards is  scheduled to take place on February 28, 2021. Now due to the Corona effect,  the event is reportedly being pushed back by four months. It is said that the delay in the Hollywood's biggest event will help people nominate their best work.

"What they're proposing is pushing back the ceremony, which was scheduled to take place on February 28, to either late May or early June. Doing this means films forced to postpone their release dates can also put them out later this year or in early 2021 knowing they will still be eligible for the Oscars," reported an international News portal.

Many of the most awaited films have been kept on hold and few Summer releases got postponed from releasing only because of the pandemic Corona Virus.

Hollywood Star Daniel Craig's bond movie 'No Time To Die', Vin Diesel's' Fast and Furious 9', Mulan and Marvel's 'Black Widow' have been delayed and nobody has an idea when these films would release.

It is evident that in the 92nd Academy Awards, 'Parasite', South Korean film became the first ever non English film to win the Best Picture Award and Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor for his phenomenal performance in 'Joker'.
