Huge Relief: Court discharges Actress from 14-year-old Case!

Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast got a major sigh of relief from a case that traces back to 14 years. In a big relief to the actress, the Court let the actress go and termed the actress victim as far as the much-talked-about controversy is concerned.

The Mumbai Court told a piece of Good News to Shilpa Shetty in the 2007 case and the court felt that the actress was a victim in the court, media reports said. The case is about Hollywood actor Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty.

The issue which became a huge controversy when it happened had lasted for around 14 long years and reportedly ended in favour of the Bollywood Actress. The Bombay Court heard the petition recently as it was transferred from the Rajasthan Court.

Tracing back the details of the infamous case, the incident took place back in 2007 when an AIDS awareness program was conducted to create awareness about the disease for the public. When Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere were on the stage, the latter kissed the actress.

The issue which created a big uproar and led to widespread protests against Shilpa Shetty subsequently reached the Court. Later, the case was shifted to Mumbai Court.

Saying that Shilpa Shetty is not a conspirator of the issue, the Mumbai Court said Shilpa Shetty is the victim in the case and discharged her from the much-talked-about case as per the media reports.
