We already knew that the case of hero Nithiin has been going on from the past few months. G. Satyanarayana from Secunderabad has filed a complaint against Nithiin and his sister Nikitha Reddy in Malkajgiri court regarding the distribution matter of 2015 released 'Hello' movie. Nithiin's father Sudhakar Reddy was found guilty in that case and the news created a sensation at that time.

However, the court finally dropped the charges. In the petition, Satyanarayana claimed that he paid an advance of Rs. 50 lakhs for Akhil's Hello movie rights  to Shresta Movies. But the court gave a clarity on the issue and dropped the criminal charges. As it is a case related to cheques, it will be not under criminal case and dismissed it. The court dropped the charges on them as Nikhil and Nikitha are not partners of Shresta Movies.

Akkineni Akhil's debut movie 'Akhil' hit the silver screens on 11th November 2015. V.V.Vinayak helmed this project under Nithiin's home banner. The movie became a disaster at the box office. Vinayak has received some amounts from the distributors and Nithiin's father also gave back the money and settled the matters with some distributors.
