CVL Withdraws MAA Nomination hours after announcing manifesto

Ahead of the MAA Elections, the issue took a surprising turn with senior actor-lawyer CVL Narasimha Rao who is contesting for the President post announcing his withdrawal from the elections hours after he unveiled his manifesto.

Speaking to the media, the actor said that there is a strong reason behind opting out from the elections and the same would be announced to the media soon. His statements made everyone guess the reason.

What's even more surprising is that he announced his manifesto earlier today. Cut to a few hours later, he announced that he is not running for the elections that are scheduled to commence in October.Having said that, CVL said he is not extending his support to any other panel.

This is the second such incident that took place in MAA elections. Earlier Bandla Ganesh who announced his candidacy for the general secretary post had withdrawn his nomination.

MAA Elections will commence on October 10 in Jubilee Hills. Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu are contesting for the President position and already filed their nominations.
