In an exclusive interview given to a Youtube channel, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao shared his views on movies such as 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', 'Khaidi no.150' and 'Baahubali'.

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao: 'Usually, I don't see movies much. At the same time, I won't miss watching movies if I receive good feedback about them. I watched 'Satakarni' and it's been made quite well. Balakrishna has got into the skin of the character. Actually, I don't give much rating for Balayya as an actor because for me actors means NTR & SV Ranga Rao who own the characters like no one else. Today, The Heroes we see are just stars not real actors. Yes, Balakrishna has done few memorable roles. I knew him from his childhood days. As a kid, He used to mimic Lord Krishna and Lord Rama. He has come to this stage with lot of dedication and hardwork. But, I am not someone who enjoys fights and dances'.

When quizzed about 'Khaidi No.150', Daggubati replied, 'It's not up to the stature of Chiranjeevi garu. May be, it would have collected well'.

Asked about his take on Baahubali, He said: 'It's a Masterpiece'.

Daggubati produced NTR & ANR's flick 'Saptarishi' under the direction of K Raghavendra Rao. Though he made good money, He stopped production after reaching an opinion that it doesn't suit his mindset.
