Reportedly, Madurai-based Saranya TV aired 'Darbar' without the consent of makers within few days after the release. A complaint was lodged in this regard in Mumbai's Commissioner's Office, law and order.
Darbar is a decent offering in the combination of Rajinikanth & AR Murugadoss. This Biggie hasn't taken a flying start and long run is needed for recovery of Rs 130 crore. Particularly, Telugu version of Darbar received a jolt from Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo. Screening the newly released film on television is the worst thing that could happen at this stage.
