Update: 2022-09-13 12:01 GMT
With 'Ante Sundaraniki' ending up as an average venture commercially, Natural star Nani has shifted his complete focus towards 'Dasara' which is being made by debut director Srikanth Odela. The glimpse and the first look poster got a very good response. Nani amazed everyone with his rustic and rugged look. There is a good buzz on the film and it helped the makers in doing good pre-release business.

There are reports that the non-theatrical rights for this film were collectively sold for 50 crores. The latest news says that the theatrical rights brought the producers 27 crores and it excludes the overseas rights. On the whole, the film did a fantastic business of around 80 crores which is huge for a Nani film.

Nani's last outing 'Ante Sundaraniki' was a commercial failure despite good talk. It was appreciated more when it got released in the OTT platform. Nani's 'Shyam Singha Roy' too did not get profits. His 'V' and 'Tuck Jagadish' which had digital releases got negative talk and were declared as flops. His 'Gang Leader' wasn't a commercial success too. Despite all that, 'Dasara' managed to do such a huge business and experts claim that it is mainly because of the expansion of Telugu cinema's market in recent times. Tollywood films are getting good response all over the nation whether it is theatrically or digitally. Looks like Nani's 'Dasara' benefitted a lot due to this.

National Award-Winning actress Keerthy Suresh has paired opposite Nani in this rustic mass action entertainer. Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab are the important cast of the film. Odela Srikanth is helming this project which is made under 'SLV Cinemas' banner by Sudhakar Cherukuri. Popular Tamil composer Santosh Narayanan scored the music and Naveen Nooli is the editor while Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the director of photography.
