Tamil star hero Dhanush is doing a film 'Vada Chennai' in the direction of Vetrimaaran. It is known that Vetrimaaran is the director of National Award Award winning film 'Aadukalam'. Even though first schedule of 'Vada Chennai was completed in last November, the movie was put on hold due to various commitments of Dhanush. The shoot of 'Vada Chennai' has been resumed on Tuesday.
Vada Chennai is a North Chennai based gangster film.. it tracks 30 years of his life. The movie is made as trilogy and the first part of 'Vada Chennai' will probably hit the screens in either November or December this year. Amala Paul and Andrea Jeremiah are the heroines of the film. Vijay Sethupathi is playing an important cameo in the film. Dhanush is one of the producer of the film. He said to have allotted 200 days of call sheets for 'Vada Chennai' to complete the film without any disturbances.
Meanwhile another Tamil film 'Power Pandi'directed by Dhanush is releasing on April 14. Dhanush is doing another film 'Enai Noki Paayum Thota' in the direction of Gautham Menon. This film is getting ready for the release in couple of months.
