Fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi waited for more than two years for 'Acharya'. Directed by star filmmaker Koratala Siva, this social drama is all set to hit the screens on 29th April.

It has been four years since the release of 'Bharat Ane Nenu' and Koratala is eager to show his film to the audience. Along with Mega fans, the admirers of Koratala Siva are having high expectations on this film. There was a huge buzz over the theatrical trailer of 'Acharya' too.

The action-packed trailer came out on Tuesday and there are two things that stunned the viewers while watching it. There are a lot of comments about this trailer. All the elements which the fans wanted to see in a Megastar film were present in the trailer. The emotion and action are in abundance and the masses are going to have a blast as per sources.

Interestingly, the trailer has been edited in a high voltage fashion which we usually find in Boyapati Sreenu movies. Many doubted whether this trailer was edited under Koratala's supervision? Or did Boyapati edit it? Also, the trailer did not have any signature mark of Koratala Siva according to a lot of people.

Megastar and Charan were presented as people who save Padaghattam. There was a talk that Charan's character will be ended in a touching manner. Also, Charan's role is reportedly going to last for only 25 minutes.

Going by trailer, one may think that Chiru is playing a guest role in Charan's film. All the scenes in the trailer indicate that Megastar arrives in Padaghattam to save the people and complete what Charan started. It reminded a few people of 'Samara Simha Reddy' storyline.

'Acharya' is a social drama produced by Matinee Entertainments banner. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine for Chiru while Pooja Hegde will be romancing Charan in this movie. Mani Sharma is the music composer and the three songs which came out till date turned out to be good hits.

There are a lot of noted artists in this project which takes place in a fictional village named Dharmasthali. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Thirunavikkarasu is the cinematographer while Navin Nooli is the editor. As we know, 'Acharya' will be hitting the screens on 29th April.
