Update: 2019-10-01 08:05 GMT
Amitabh Bachchan is such a legendary actor and has been an iconic lead actor for many years that we cannot call him a supporting actor, even if that is the role he is playing in a movie.

So, his role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy should be called a cameo and he is playing Guru of the main lead, Gosai Vekanna's character in the film.

Ram Gopal Varma has been a big influencer in Amitabh Bachchan's career recently as the actor was impressed with Sarkar franchise by the director, starring him and his son, Abhishek Bachchan.

He did Buddah Hoga Tera Baap with Puri Jagannath in his own production as RGV convinced him and he acted in many other films from RGV like Department, Aag to state a few.

For Buddah Hoga Tera Baap 100 days function, Chiranjeevi came as the special guest and at the event, RGV said that Chiranjeevi should come back into films and do the 150th.

Puri Jagannath offered to direct the film. Chiru responded to this asking RGV to be the creative head of the project then he will do it, if Amirabh plays a cameo in the film.

RGV added that he will be creative head of Chiru's 150th and will direct 151st film too. AB agreed to do a cameo in both the films and asked Chiranjeevi to just give him a call any day.

Now, Chiranjeevi got his wish to act with AB in a movie that stars him with Sye Raa and RGV posted the old video and said that he always said anything and everything for or oppposite Chiru keeping actor's best interest in mind.

Mega Fans who have been highly angered and triggered by the director's comments at various occasions, are happy that he gave such clarification and did influence  for Chiranjeevi to have his lifelong dream come true in his own way!
