Did UV Creations Overspend On Radhe Shyam?

Update: 2022-03-08 05:20 GMT
Radhe Shyam is the next big pan-India outing from Tollywood. The intense love drama has Prabhas in the lead role and it is riding high on buzz as it gears up for theatrical release on the 11th of March. Now the big question is - did UV Creations overspend on Radhe Shyam? Well, the answer might be yes, but they most certainly did it for the enhancement of the final output.

Speaking with media the other day, Prabhas revealed that the makers of Radhe Shyam imported 60 - 70 vintage cars from Europe just to shoot a 20-second shot in the film. This shows the amount of grandeur that went into the making of Radhe Shyam. It is evident that the makers spent a fortune just on the aesthetics of the film. Who else would spend a fortune on importing vintae cards just for 20-second shot in the film.

There is also a rumor that the makers of Radhe Shyam imported the finest quality perfumes from Europe for a special European themed scene in the film. They had even erected a related set in Hyderabad to shoot this scene on a lavish scale. After spending so much money on this scene and canning it on a grand scale, the scene isn't even in the final cut. The makers chopped off this scene in order to comply with the crisp run-time requirement.

Not just that, the makers of Radhe Shyam are said to have spent close to Rs 75 crores just on the sets of the film. They had erected a whopping 101 sets for the filming of Radhe Shyam. This really is a sensational tally and it goes on to speak volumes about the scale and canvas of Radhe Shyam. The film is clearly mounted on a massive scale and it will offer a visual feast to the audience as it hits the marquee on the 11th of this month.

Radhe Shyam is up for release on the 11th of this month and it is banking on Prabhas's pan-India box office pull to make it big at the box office. The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and it has Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
