Ravi Teja vs Sai Dharam Tej!

Update: 2017-08-28 06:55 GMT
This year, 2017, has been a golden year for Telugu Film Industry as many number of films are finding the appreciation of audience. The variety that people are accepting is giving a hope for all other filmmakers to invest more in the content. Along with that this year in the later half, we are seeing an uncanny fight between different makers to release their films on the same date.

Ravi Teja, who has taken a sabbatical for 16 months is now coming back with back to back films. His first to release will be Raja the Great, directed by Anil Ravipudi, where he acts as a visually challenged person. The movie has been planned to release on 13th of October by producer Dil Raju. Now, we got to know from the TFI circles that Sai Dharam Tej's Jawaan directed by BVS Ravi will also be released on the same date. Dil Raju is said to very calculative producer and distributor and we heard that Dil Raju is distributing the movie, Jawaan.

Jawaan is scheduled to be released in September but sudden surge in the number of releases in September and also the big film releases  made the producers and distributors to postpone the release for October. But the interesting fact here is Dil Raju knowingly letting two films collide at the box office. That too, his own films. He is said to invested some money in Jawaan too.

There is a talk too that Dil Raju just took the rights of Naizam and Uttarandhra from the producers and he has not but any money in the project. We have seen many potentially good films also biting the dust and even the producers have come out and commented against many releases for same date. Still, Dil Raju seems to be thinking in a different angle by scheduling two movies of his own on the same date. We have to see what he will say on this matter!
