Director Asks People To Watch Pirated Copy

Bollywood flick 'Mulk' has been banned in Pakistan. Director Anubhav Sinha who isn't happy with the ban asked Pakistanis to watch the pirated version of his movie. 'Watch it illegally if you must watch it! In Pak, Hindus are a minority. In India, Muslims are a minority. We need to work towards co-existence,' opined the Filmmaker.  

'Mulk', a courtroom drama, which is based on the fightback of a Muslim Family accused of treason to prove their innocence.

Pakistan CBFC Chairman Danyal Gilani told Censor Members decided not to approve 'Mulk' as its contents are a violation of Censorship of Film Code, 1980.

'Mulk' Co-Producer Deepak Mukut told he was disturbed by the ban imposed by Pakistan. 'It's a prejudiced verdict. Irony is that 'Mulk' is about the very prejudice. Hope, Pak Censor Board reconsiders their decision,' he said.
