Bobby aka K.S. Ravindra has established himself as a big movie director with films like Sardar Gabbar Singh and Jai Lava Kusa. Both may not have been big hits but Bobby has got more opportunities to make movies with big stars with them. Now, when he wanted to gift his father something, to help him recover from illness, he thought the best gift, that is, Chiranjeevi. How? Let's read in his own words ..
Bobby said, "My father is an ardent fan of Chiranjeevi. It is his encouragement that helped me become a director today. He used to walk to the end of the street and wait for me. I used convince everyone in the house that I am going for the school and by the time I reach to the end of the street, my father used to take my bag and books and keep in them in a safe house. Then take me to a Chiranjeevi film. It is his passion that made me fall in love with the art and later become a director."
He continued, "Later, after I became a director I wanted to gift him many things but he never asked me for anything significant. During Jai Lava Kusa, he fell ill and asked me, "I showed you Chiranjeevi films when you're young to inspire you, now you're a director. Can you take me to Chiranjeevi once? " I cried listening to it. Immediately called Vinayak and asked him if I can meet Chiranjeevi for an appointment. Chiranjeevi garu called me in the evening and said, he will visit my father soon. As he started recovering, Chiranjeevi came to our house on the release day of Jai Lava Kusa and spent time with my father. That's the best gift I could ever give to my father. "
