Akkineni Akhil has been in a dire need of a hit. His previous 2 movies 'Akhil' and 'Hello' ended up as disasters at the box office. The actor is all set to come up with 'Mr. Majnu' under the direction of 'Tholi Prema' fame Venky Atluri.
Akhil it has been confident about the movie and he is looking forward to some interesting and innovative scripts. He is also getting ready to team up with talented young directors as well. On that note, the young actor has recently accepted a project. Apparently, Kollywood director PS Mithran who recently marked his debut with 'Irumbu Thirai' starring Vishal and Samantha narrated an interesting script to Akhil who got really impressed with the storyline. A rumour is doing rounds that Samantha has taken Akhil's responsibility and she is putting him to a lot of young directors hoping he can pick a good script. Looks like Mithran also came on board in a similar manner.
It seems like Akhil has also given his nod for this project and we have to see what kind of a project Mithran has narrated to Akhil. Mithran's debut movie 'Irumbu Thirai', a technothriller got released in Telugu as 'Abhimanyudu' and made decent collections.
