After a blockbuster like 'Akhanda', Nandamuri Balakrishna released his 'Veera Simha Reddy' in competition with Chiranjeevi's film during this Sankranti season. This mass masala action film has become the biggest opener in the career of Balayya.

Director Gopichandh Malineni is very happy about the success of the film and he recently had a chat with the media. He is receiving a lot of praise from Balayya's look in the movie and the director revealed how the entire team worked very hard to design the look of the senior hero.

Gopichand said that he is a huge fan of Balakrishna and claimed that he is handsome even today and that is why a lot of care has to be taken in designing his look. The black shirt has already started becoming iconic and goggles have become a trend as per Malineni.

He shared that he has a good rapport with Ram-Lakshman masters and he worked with them in 'Krack' before. They reportedly know Balayya's pulse and they designed the action blocks as separate scenes without missing any emotion. He claims that it is the reason why there is such a huge response for the action part.

He said that the decision to make an emotional second half is a deliberate decision. Malineni claims that the first half is made for fans but the second half is made with keeping the family audience in mind. He claims that the sister sentiment has touched the hearts of the family audience which is quite happy to see.
