USA BO: Disastrous Start for Summer 2017!

Update: 2017-04-10 07:39 GMT
Summer 2017 has been worse to say the least for USA Distributors & Buyers. None of the films released in the past three Weeks have fared well at the Box Office.

Katamarayudu: After beginning with below-par revenue for Premieres, This Pawan Kalyan-starrer managed to collect just $1.16 Million. Distributors & Exhibitors have incurred huge losses as the theatrical rights were sold for a whooping price.

Guru: This Wrestling-based Flick wasn't up to the mark in USA inspite of superb reviews and good word-of-mouth. It managed to collect just $139K in the first weekend and overall revenue is under 200K. It's a huge disaster in USA.

Cheliyaa: Yet another shock to the buyers came in the form of Mani Ratnam's directorial which grossed just $81K (Thursday Premieres $27,212; Friday $21,299; Saturday $21,763; Sunday $10K) in the first weekend.

'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is the only hope for US Buyers. A huge money is at stake with this epic and they could only pray for great returns.
