'Baahubali: The Conclusion' finally hit the screens worldwide yesterday. Review are positive and audience reaction is also positive.. good reports are coming out of all the areas. Even though there is criticism that it could not match the standard of visual granduer of Baahubali.. audience are quite happy as story is given more importance. But there were some issues with the release.
A multiplex theater in Hyderabad has shown Hindi version instead of Telugu version. As the audience were eagerly waiting for the Telugu version they have done hungama in the theater by shouting and blowing whistles. The operator came to know the mistake and rectified it later. In another incident, a Bangalore multiplex theater has shown the movie from the interval. They couldn't understand what was happening until the climax. There was huge hungama in the theater.. finally, they have shown the entire movie.
As producer-distributors deal was not finalized in Tamil Nadu.. Thursday premiers.. Friday morning shows were cancelled in the state. The audience who booked the advance tickets were upset with the cancellation of shows. This has shown impact on the first day collections of 'Baahubali 2' in Tamil Nadu. Similarly, revenue sharing agreement was not finalized between distributors - exhibitors in Kochi.. so 'Baahubali 2' was not screened in several multiplexes. Even though Baahubali team took so much care in post production and release formalities.. audience are surprised to see this kind of issues.
