Do not tolerate corruption, Advani tells BJP

Update: 2013-03-03 10:13 GMT
BJP leader L.K. Advani Sunday urged party president Rajnath Singh to adopt a "zero tolerance" policy against complaints of corruption and called upon party workers to ensure success in the 2014 elections.

"There should be no compromise with corruption," Advani said at the BJP's two-day national council meet Sunday.

"Consider the prevailing (political) situation as a challenge and work for the party's success in the forthcoming polls," he said.

Assembly polls are due in seven states later this year while the Lok Sabha polls are scheduled in 2014.
