Director Harish Shankar is currently remaking Tamil hit film Jigarthanda in Telugu as Valmiki. Varun Tej is playing the lead role in this movie. The shoot of this film has started a couple of months back and is facing troubles every now and then since its launch. Initially, it was reported that Pooja Hegde will be seen as a female lead in it.
But, later we heard that Pooja has walked out of the project citing the differences in remuneration. Now, it is music director Devi Sri Prasad who bid adieu to the project. Devi was officially announced as the music director of the film by the makers. He also started working on it.
But apparently, there were creative differences between Devi and Harish, which eventually led to the exit if Devi. We now hear that he is being replaced by Mickey J Meyer. Both Mickey and harish worked together earlier for Subrahmanyam for Sale. Now, they are back again with Valmiki.
