Malayalam star hero Dulquer Salman has an established market across South India. He is a hero everyone loves and his movies are well received by all sections of the audience. He is now arriving with an intense and emotional love story like 'Sita Ramam' which is set in the war backdrop. The movie is coming out worldwide on August 5th and the expectations are quite high. While there is a positive buzz over this flick everywhere, it is banned in GCC countries.
GCC includes Arab countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE. Apparently, the ministry claims that this film may hurt the religious sensitivities of the people. The Arab countries are a strong area for Dulquer Salman as many Malayali people work there and his stardom plays a major role in attract the crowds too.
But 'Sita Ramam' ended up in trouble in those countries now and it may not have a release. The film's unit, however, applied for a re-censor and we need to see how things turn out. This is not the first time for Dulquer as his last outing 'Kurup' also faced the same difficulties in GCC countries.

The film features a big list of noted actors like Prakash Raj, Shatru, Bhoomika Chawla, Rukmini Vijay Kumar, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and many more. 'Sita Ramam' will be released worldwide on 5th August in theatres. The movie will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
