Update: 2022-09-27 07:23 GMT
Nationalism seems to be the flavor of the season as people are heavily encouraging movies that project nationalistic ideology and sheds a positive light on Indian and Hindu culture. With Bharatiya Janata Party in ruling, films that promote nationalism are arriving thick and fast. They are even used as political tools to win the elections.

As we know, BJP nation-level leaders had meetings with NTR, Nithiin and Prabhas recently during their visit to Hyderabad. They are adamant on bringing down the TRS government in the upcoming elections. Rumours suggest that they are backing some producers in order to come up with pro-BJP content directly or indirectly. Apparently, Abhishek Agarwal who made movies like 'The Kashmir Files' and 'Karthikeya 2' is planning to make a film based on the atroctities committed by Nizam and his Razaakars.

The team of 'Kashmir Files' is expected to work on it and the research on it is reportedly going on for more than two years. It is expected to be announced soon. Another leader of BJP is ready to spend 30 crores on a film that was based on Amit Shah's suggestion. News is that the BJP leader had registered three titles namely 'Nizam Diaries', 'Razakar' and 'Razakar Files' in the Film Chamber.

Apart from these two, Rajamouli's father and elite writer Vijayendra Prasad who is a Rajya Sabha member is penning the script about the Hyderabad liberation movement and the Hyderabad state becoming a part of the Indian union. He said, "I am attempting to give a humanitarian message that Muslims and Hindus are both integral parts of India. It will take at least a couple of months for the script to be ready."

All these films are expected to come out before the elections so that they can be used by the BJP to enhance their strength and weaken the opposition.
