Everyone Happy As 'Bimbisara' Crosses 20 Crore Mark In 5 Days!

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's socio-fantasy film 'Bimbisara' is running successfully in theatres right now. This interesting movie came out on 5th August and the reviewers gave a positive response right from the morning shows. The promotions succeeded in giving a positive vibe to the film too. With all these factors working in favor of 'Bimbisara', it managed to earn well and entered the profit zone with ease.

The movie earned a share of 6.3 crores in the Telugu states on its very first day. Since the theatrical rights were sold for 13 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, many expected the film to enter the profit zone by the end of the first weekend. It is what happened for 'Bimbisara' as it minted a total of 15.9 crores in 3 days. The movie stayed strong on Monday too and it collected 2.52 crores on its fifth day which is very big considering everything.

'Bimbisara' managed to get 20.70 crores in 5 days in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana combined. Every buyer entered the profit zone and this film is bringing smiles on to every face including the artists, technicians, producer, buyers and theatre owners.

On Tuesday, the film earned 2.52 crores. It got 89 lakhs (Including GST) from the Nizam area and 37 lakhs from the Vizag region (Including GST). The movie collected 62 lakhs in the Ceeded region and 6 lakhs in the Nellore area. The collections in Krishna and Guntur were 14 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively and it earned 26 lakhs from East and West Godavari districts combined.

Kalyan Ram is enjoying his first hit in a long time and Nandamuri fans are over the moon with these collections. As said before, the planning for 'Bimbisara 2' is going on. Produced by NTR Arts banner, Samyuktha Menon and Catherine Tresa are the heroines in this film. Madhiki Vashist is the director of this project. Warina Hussain, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Srinivasa Reddy and others played key roles in this socio-fantasy film.
