Excise Department shifted focus to Film Industry after focusing on Educational Institutions in the Drug Racket Case. Cops came to know that Drug Peddlers Kelvin, Ben and Nikhil Shetty have been supplying drugs to Film Personalities.
Notices have been issued to as many as 10 Tollywood Personalities asking them to appear for questioning in connection with the Drug Racket Case. Those who were issued notices include 3 Young Heroes, 4 Directors, 2 Producers and a Fight Master. As the three Heroes are currently not in the city, Their closed ones have received these notices.
Police have been planning to issue notices to 20 Others from the Film Industry very soon. They seems to have come to the conclusion that all of them have been either addicted to drugs or buying them for others. Most of them seems to have come in touch with the Drug Peddlers at the late-night parties.
