The film has completed its shooting and the makers are busy with the post-production works. This is the first pan-Indian film under their combination as they already announced another movie named 'Jana Gana Mana' a few weeks back.
With the South heroes and directors proving their worth at the box-office and impressing the North audience too, there are a lot of expectations on 'Liger' which is arriving on 25th August. Talk suggests that the film did a fantastic pre-release business. Apparently, the non-theatrical rights have been sold for 99 cores. A popular group spent 85 crores on acquiring both satellite and digital rights. Sony Music has reportedly bought the audio rights for 14 crores.
With 'Liger' becoming Puri's immediate film after 'Ismart Shankar', the buzz is quite high on 'Liger' and reports claim that Warangal Sreenu bought the theatrical rights of Andhra, Ceeded and Nizam areas for a huge rate.
