Update: 2018-05-24 05:17 GMT
In a recent interview, Ram Charan who recently scored a block buster with Rangasthalam shared some of his insights about Indian Cinema in global market. He stated that the global market is not just a great deal of business and is enhancing the production values of films in every region but also helping the Indian talent to cross over.

He raised the point of so many South Indian families being settled in the US, Gulf and other countries, increased the global market as they tend to watch Indian movies which in turn makes the actors get opportunity to do collaborative work. Cherry's Rangasthalam movie became a sensational hit joining the 200 crore club. Speaking of this grand success, Mega Powerstar said "It's great to receive such huge numbers at the box office for a regional film. It is a sign that people are still interested to make some time to go to the theatre and watch a film if the content is good." He also stresses a point that one shouldn't get carried away with the success and start afresh and attempt something new instead of sticking to a routine formula.

Despite entering into the industry as the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Charan has had his own ups and downs. Dhruva happened when he was struggling with flops in his career. He commented that there will be no such thing as a bad story but sometimes it might be a bad screenplay or treatment of film. Talking about the side-effects of nepotism, he cannot follow his father's style as the audience will think that he is a copy cat. This actor/producer added that having a family background is not a burden but became a responsibility to live upto the expectations.
