Senior actress Jayanthi, is reported to have taken a divine abode or in simple words, died, yesterday in Bangaluru.
The actress is having respiratory infection and problems in lungs, hence she is in ICU, in Vikram Hospital.
Many actors and actresses got concerned about the news and started asking about her health condition by calling her family and media outlets.
Her son reacted to all the rumours and said, "Jayanthi, my mother is alive. She is fighting against the health issues but she is recovering. We were not in a position to talk as she is in ICU in critical condition. So, someone decided to themselves to publish and promote such news. Please do not believe in such false rumours. My mother is recovering and soon, she will be healthy and normal, hopefully."
Jayanti, acted in more than 500 films in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. She did some Hindi and Malayalam films too.
She had major roles in Kannada and Tamil, while in Telugu, she remained more as a supporting lead. She did films like Jayadeekaveeruni Katha, Pedarayudu, Justice Chowdadry, Swathi kiranam, Vamsanikokkadu and many more.
