Superstitions play a key role in numerous people's lives. There is no doubt that they prevail in rural areas as well as in modern cities. We can see it in many cases when people builts a new house or opens a new shop, most of them places a  pumpkin or keeps a Dishti toy in front of the door. The same thing is seen in many crops fields too.

Now, a farmer from Chandalpur village in Chinnakodur Mandal of Siddipet district has come up with an innovative and crazy idea. Farmer Chandramouli cultivates chillies on his two acres, like all the other farmers. Unfortunately, by the time crop come to hand, some pest shows up and damages his whole crop. Chandramouli, who lost for two or three years,  has decided to put effigies in his field crop. What caught people's attention is the farmer used the images of Telugu actress to turn the gaze of the passers.

Instead of effigies in his field, he arranged the banners of Tollywood heroines Tamanna and Kajal which were beautiful and attractive. Chandramouli said the crop was ripe as the focus of people who saw the crop shifted to the photos of the star beauties instead of falling on the entire crop.
