The Tollywood film industry, one of the big industries in the country has found itself in a sort of bothering situation as a lot of issues surrounding the industry and making the makers have a second thought on giving for the shoots. The situation of the industry turned upside down post the pandemic crisis.

After the pandemic, the budgets of the films have increased due to various reasons. Rubbing salt into the wounds, the cine workers called for a strike demanding a hike in their remuneration based on their experience and the situation forced the producers to accept the demand. However, the producers guild said that after calling for a meeting, they will take a call on this.

As if it is not enough, the success rate in the industry is not that good and experts say that a few successful films also failed to meet the budget that was spent on making the film, which is a big concern for the producers who give their best in maintaining good production values.

In the middle of the not-so-good situation, the producers are believed to have come together to discuss various things related to film production and the money that goes into the film production and the discussion on how to bring down the production house also came discussion.

After a brainstorming session, the producers expressed concerns about the growing production house and how they are not able to produce the films by spending a huge amount.

It is an open secret that the remunerations of heroes, directors, heroines and star character artists make up the majority of the film production cost. It is an insider talk that even the character artists are demanding more and the heroes coming from other industries demand a fat cheque.

To create a big buzz for the films, the makers invite heroes and actors from other industries as antagonists and special roles, like how we are hearing that Vijay Sethupathi might come on board for the sequel of Icon Star Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. Vijay Setupathi became a big advantage for Kamal Haasan's Vikram and after the film, Vijay Sethupathi became popular and the makers are showing interest in binging him.

As the actors are reportedly in no mood to reduce the remunerations, the producers might call for a strike for the shoots. It is said that, by halting the shoots, the producers want to shed light on the issue and this might help the actors and directors come on track in the industry.
