Controversial Comments made by Producers Prasanna and Ashok Vallabhaneni created a sensation in the Industry. Industry Folks have been responding seriously over the objectionable language used by them at the audio launch of 'Petta'. Rajinikanth couldn't attend the event as he was in USA. Had if he was present, Thalaivar wouldn't have appreciated the manner in which Bigwigs in the Industry have been disrespected. These Two Producers accused Dil Raju, Allu Aravind and UV Creations of operating theatre mafia.

The first response has come from Geetha Arts Compound. Bunny Vas who is the close associate of Allu Aravind took to his social media handle to warn Prasanna Kumar not to provoke them with half-knowledge. He cautioned about dire consequences one has to be face for crossing the line of decency.

Generally, Theatres will be allotted during the festive season depending on the demand from the public on the films. In the Telugu States, 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' will occupy maximum number of screens from January 11. 'NTR - Kathanayakudu' and 'F2' would have almost equal number of screens from then onwards. 'Petta' entered into Pongal race after majority of theatres were allotted to these three straight Telugu Films. Not to forget the dismal performance of Rajinikanth-starrers in the recent years. All the Telugu Producers and Distributors who released Rajini Films incurred losses post 'Robo'. This could be why there is hardly any buzz for Petta in the Telugu Circuit.
