These days lip-lock scenes have become a regular in Indian films. Even yesterday's release Kick 2 also features a lip pecking of Raviteja and Rakul Preet Singh. But the the first ever lip-kiss on Indian screen is something very interesting.

A Hindi-English bilingual film titled "Karma" (Naagan Ki Raagini in Hindi) had a four-minute long kissing scene between legendary heroine Devika Rani and actor Rai. Released in 1933, the film is first ever English talkie made in India and has the longest kiss ever on screen. Devika Rani is none other than niece of literary giant Ravindranath Tagore. And hero Rai is none other than her husband.

Coming to present day lip locks, maybe Samantha is one such queen int he south.
