Lakshmi Manchu has been blessed with a baby girl through Surrogacy on June 15th (Father's Day) this year. That day was also the birthday of her husband Andy Srinivasan.
When asked if the delivery date was preplanned or coincidence, Lakshmi says: "It's just coincidence. Actually, The delivery has to happen after 2 weeks. But, due to few complications it has been done through Sigerian".
The actress revealed she would have dropped the Surrogacy had if his father turned down the proposal. But, Mohan Babu encouraged her to go ahead right from the beginning. In fact, The senior actor was very excited after watching the picture of the baby during the scanning. It was Lakshmi who had to do everything required to stop her father from revealing about this matter to media till the date of delivery.
In December last year, Andy Srinivasan moved to India completely from USA only because of the Baby. Lakshmi Manchu is devoting her complete time to her daughter at present.
