In the first ever result declared regarding the Assembly ,Lok Sabha polls, Telugudesam party emerged triumphant. TDP contestant Damacharla won assembly seat by thrashing former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and YSRCP candidate from Ongole with a huge majority of 18,000 votes .This happens to be the first declared result by EC.
Counting started in all the centres sharply at 8 am, and according to preliminary reports Telugudesam is leading the show in Seemandhra with 105 seats and YSR Congress followed with 60 plus places, while Congress restricted to 1 seat.
Otherside the Separate State Crusader Telangana Rashtra Samiti is all set to form first government in the new born state. The party has breached the simple majority mark and is looking to obtain more than 60 seats. The party which was termed as weak in South Telangana also performed well there.
