However, it got postponed due to Covid and various other reasons. RRR has no issues right now and on March 25, RRR is set to set the box office on fire.
Ahead of the release, the Telangana government had issued a Government Order allowing the hike in the ticket prices for the single screens and multiplexes. The new development will take the ticket prices further up.
As per the Government Order, the ticket prices can be increased by Rs 50 for the first two days of film release for the single screen theatres. On the other hand, the prices can be hiked by Rs 30 from March 28 to April 3.
Looking at the Multiplex theatres, the tickets can be hiked by Rs 100 for the first two days.
Compared to the fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh, movie ticket prices are high in Telangana. With the new Government Order, the tickets will get even costlier.

Concerned Minister Perni Nani said that, based on the recommendations of the committee, the makers can increase the ticket prices.
