Update: 2022-10-06 09:02 GMT
King Nagarjuna who arrived on 5th October with 'The Ghost' has failed to reach the expectations. Though the fight sequences were well designed, the lack of emotions and drama proved to be a huge drawback. On the other hand, Megastar scored a good hit in the form of 'Godfather' directed by Mohan Raja. The Tamil director is getting a lot of praise for handling the remake quite well. There are reports that Mohan Raja is now the front runner to direct Nagarjuna's landmark film.

As we know, Nag is nearing his 100th project and Nag said that he is listening to a lot of scripts. Among them, it is reportedly Mohan Raja who is likely to get the chance. He is the brother of hero Jayam Ravi and son of senior editor Mohan. He remade a lot of Telugu hits in Tamil and got success. He surprised everyone by coming up with an original intelligent action thriller like 'Thani Oruvan' which was later remade as 'Dhruva' in Telugu. His 'Velaikkaran' with Siva Karthikeyan is a good hit in Tamil. In the past, Mohan Raja made 'Hanuman Junction' in Telugu and the comedy scenes in it are watched even today.

Prior to the release of 'Godfather', Mohan Raja hinted at a press meet that he is going to direct Nagarjuna soon. It is expected to be an action film and the discussions are going on according to him. The success of 'Godfather' will definitely be considered by the 'King' star. We need to wait till the official news comes out on social media.
