From couple of days it is being discussed in film circles that director Gopichand Malineni has come out with new modifications for Tamil film "Kathhi" which has Vijay in the lead and AR Murugadoss handling the mantle of direction. Apparently this film went to many heroes including Pawan Kalyan, Raviteja and Jr NTR, but none showed interest to act in the remake film. Finally the makers have dubbed the Telugu version and it is Censored with "U" certificate with a run time of 2 hours 43 minutes in February 2015. So, what's with this remake now?
Gopichand Malineni, when contacted, stated that his next project is not Kathi and he has already started working on a new script for which Dil Raju is going to be the producer. Reports have Dil Raju is going to produce this film with Bunny but not NTR. At the same time, a close source in Mythri Makers, the producers of Srimanthudu, has updated that Jr NTR's next will be under Koratala Siva's direction under their own banner. Seems like Kathi remake in that case is just a rumour. We have to wait for official confirmation anyway.
