Hero Gopichand is going through a lean phase after 'Loukyam'. Let us keep aside whether his films are hits or flops.. there is utter confusion whether they will be released or not. First copy of 'Aaradugula Bullet' is ready ..but didn't release due to financial problems in the last minute. Another film 'Oxygen' release is also in confusion. So, Gopichand has pinned all his hopes on 'Gautham Nanda'.
He is confident that 'Gautham Nanda' will be successful at the box office. While speaking at the audio function, he said that "This film is a sureshot hit. But I can't say the hit range. Sampanth Nandi narrated the story for two and half hours.. he has made the film exactly as he narrated without any deviations. Gopihand praised him that he is one of the best directors he worked till now. Gopichand understood that the movie needs high budget at the time of story narration itself. He said that producers Pullarao, Bhagawan never stepped back in spending the money for making it a rich film.
He has mentioned the names of chief technicians like art director, cinematograher, lyric writer. etc and showered praised on them for their efforts. While speaking about music, he said "Background score is so important for this film and Thaman delivered superb music. Thaman said that Guatham Nanda is one of the few films which touched his heart. He has put his heart and soul in to the film's music."

He said that he worked with Hansika, Catherine for the first time and his on-scren chemistry worked well.
