Harish Shankar Recalls How He Waited 10 Years For PK!

Gabbar Singh has a special place in Pawan Kalyan's career. It not only set the box office on fire but also showed what Pawan Kalyan can do if he gets a good film. After a long wait of around a decade, Pawan Kalyan scored a hit. Though it was a remake, changes were made to suit the nativity.

Director Harish Shankar needs a special mention here. He changed the hero's character and added a few entertaining scenes. Anthakshari scenes are not there in the original but he added in Gabbar Singh. As the director is a fan of Pawan, he hit the bull's eye.

It's been a decade since Gabbar Singh was released. Now a new project was announced today in the combination of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar which is titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh. On the occasion, Harish made an interesting tweet.

Recalling the journey from Gabbar Singh to Ustaad Bhagat Singh Harish Shankar said Gabbar Singh was released on May 11th, 2012 and the new film was announced on Dec 11th, 2022. Saying that he has waited a decade for the project, the director maintained he wants to get back to sets with Pawan Kalyan soon.

"May 11th 2012 to Dec 11th 2022. It's not just a few years of waiting.. it's a decade of me waiting and wanting to get back on sets with our dearest @PawanKalyan garu #UstaadBhagatSingh begins today మనల్ని ఎవడ్రా ఆపేది..," Harish Shankar said on Twitter.
