HC allows telecast of 'Grand Masti' In TV'S

The Delhi High Court allowed the television premiere of Hindi comedy film "Grand Masti"  which starred Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani in lead roles. The adult comedy film collected more than 100 crores when its released.

But few days before High Court stayed the television premiere of the film saying the film was not certified for unrestricted public exhibition. A plea was filed by Edara Gopi Chand seeking stay on the telecast of the movie on television. The petitioner observed that the film was filled with double meaning dialogues and highly objectionable content and it will show adverse effect on kids.

Now Responding to a fresh petition division bench vacated the stay on the TV telecast of the movie. The bench noted that film has already been telecast thrice. However it has cautioned all TV channels to follow the rules and provisions of the Cinematography Act.Grand Masti is an adult-comedy directed by Indra Kumar.
