Industrialist Ness Wadia is now seeking quash of the molestation case filed against him by his former girlfriend Preity Zinta.
Ness Wadia's Counsel informed the Bombay High Court that his client wants to bury the hatchet. He added, 'The complainant is married now. She and My Client sit at the same table during the IPL Players auction. They both has moved on'.
Justices RM Savant and Revati Mohite-Dere sought the response of Preity Zinta over the petition moved by Ness Wadia. Next hearing of the case will be on August 20th.
Preity Zinta alleged she was molested at the Wankhede Stadium on May 30th, 2014 during an IPL Match. When Ness Wadia was abusing Team Staff over distribution of tickets, Preity Zinta asked him to calm down. Then, He hurled abuses at Preity as well by grabbing her arm. They both are ex-lovers and co-owners of IPL Franchise Kings XI Punjab. A police complaint was lodged by Preity Zinta on June 13th, 2014 under Sections 354, 504, 506 and 509 of the IPC. A charge sheet was filed against Ness Wadia in February 2018. And now, Ness Wadia seeks quash of the molestation case saying it's just a misunderstanding.
