There are some actors who leave you spellbound in whatever role they do. Star hero Suriya is one such performer who gets into the skin of the character and connects with you instantly. His wide range of filmography speaks for itself. He can roar as 'Singham' and scare everyone at the same time as 'Rolex'. He can inspire you with movies like 'Suriya S/o Krishnan' and take you to another world with '24'. He can make you awestruck with 'Ghajini' and show his versatility through movies like 'Veedokkade', 'Brothers' and many others.

He owns a huge craze not just in Tamil Nadu but in the Telugu states too. He is the only hero after Rajni and Kamal who gets immense love from the Telugu audience. Recently, Suriya completed 25 years in the film industry. He arrived with 'Nerukku Ner' back in 1997 and continued to raise the bar for himself constantly through the years. On this special occasion, he took to Twitter and wrote, "Truly a beautiful and blessed 25 years..! Dream and believe..! Your Suriya."

He has fans and admirers from all over the world and Suriya recently bagged his National Award for his tremendous performance in 'Aakasam Nee Haddu Ra'. His 'Jai Bhim' got a huge applause too. He is currently working on 'Achaludu' with director Bala and 'VadiVaasal' with Vetri Maaran. He recently launched another project with director Shiva. In the span of 25 years, Suriya bagged two National Awards, three State Awards from Tamil Nadu, four Filmfare awards, two SIIMA awards, two Edison Awards, five Vijay awards and many more. He was the only South Indian actor to be invited to the prestigious Oscar committee. Hope Suriya continues in the same way and come up with more visionary films in the future. Suriya is married to his 'Kaakha Kaakha' heroine Jyothika back in 2006 and they are blessed with two children.
