3 Years Jail Term For Raj Tarun's Father

Hero Raj Tarun's Father Basavaraju has been sentenced to three years jail in a case related to duping a bank.

Basavaraju hails from Vepagunta in Visakhapatnam. He was an Assistant Cashier in the Simhachalam branch of State Bank of India (SBI). In 2013, He borrowed a loan of Rs 9.85 lakh on behalf of his wife Rajyalakshmi, MSN Raju, Sanyasi Raju and Sambamurthy Venkat Rao by depositing fake gold ornaments.

Manager G Subrahmaniam came to know about the gold fraud and lodged a complaint in Gopalapatnam Police Station. Magistrate Sultan Begum sentenced Basavaraju to three years in prison and imposed a fine of 20,000 for duping the bank.

On a professional front, Raj Tarun isn't able to deliver successful films in the past few years. Whether he would come to the rescue of his father by challenging the verdict in an upper court or not is to seen.
