Charmi's upcoming female centric flick 'Prathighatana's said to be based on a real life story of a girl who was gangraped in Odisha four years ago and still remained in coma. The bubbly beauty will be seen as photo journalist in the movie which is also her 50th project.
Apparenly, Charmi was moved watching the news of a gangrape on a 4-year-old and it was that time Thammareddy Bharadwaj narrated the story of 'Prathighatana'. So, it didn't take much time for the actress to sign the film. Although she can speak Telugu, She got trained to get fluency in the language for this film.
Despite seeing ups and downs, Charmi feels proud about career graph and she feels reaching 50 at the age of just 25 isn't an easy task. This 2-time Nandi award winner says she just wants to entertain audience, be it with her acting or item songs.
