High Court has quashed a case filed against Tollywood leading producer Allu Aravind almost 7-Years-Ago.
Allu Aravind was the chief guest for the Independence Day celebrations at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank in 2010. Unknowingly, He hoisted the tricolor upside down during the flag hoisting ceremony.
All India Forward Bloc's State Convenor Murali Deshpande filed a complaint against Allu Aravind in Jubilee Hills police station. Defence Counsel argued the Producer has no intention to insult the National Flag and that incident just happened accidentally.
Upon hearing the argument, High Court said anyone who insults the tricolor intentionally alone are punishable under National Flag Act. Hence, The case against Allu Aravind was quashed.
