Huge Relief For Prabhas In Property Dispute Case

Update: 2019-04-24 05:48 GMT
Hero Prabhas approached Hyderabad High Court regarding the dispute over 2,083 square yards of land in Survey No.46 at Raydurg Panmaltha Village in Serilingampally Mandal. The Actor sought a stay order on the seizure of land. In January this year, Court turned down the appeal citing Telangana Government wasn't in a hurry to demolish the farmhouse owned by Young Rebel.

Upon hearing the arguments of both Prabhas Counsel and Govt Counsel, High Court made interesting comments - 'It's unfair to make the buyer of the land vacate the property denying the chance for regularisation. At the same time, We can't order the Government to handover this disputed land to the petitioner'.

The HC Bench comprising of Justice V Ramasubrahmaiam and Justice P Kesava Rao ordered the Telangana Government to respond on the regularisation application moved by Prabhas within 8 weeks. High Court opined Revenue Officials had shown over-enthusiasm while seizing the disputed land belonging to the Actor. Prabhas was given an opportunity to approach the court again if Telangana Government turns down the application seeking regularisation.

Property Disputes in Raydurg Panmaltha Village in Serilingampally Mandal has been continuing for 6 decades. Other Land Owners could now follow the path shown by Prabhas to obtain ownership of the disputed properties.
