Mumbai High Court quashed the First Information Report (FIR) lodged against Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's estranged wife Sussanne Khan in connection with a cheating case. The Goa Bench comprising Justice FM Reis and Justice Nutan Sardesai passed the judgement.
In June this year, Real Estate company Emgee Properties filed a cheating case at the Panaji police station against Sussanne Khan who is the owner of an Interior Decoration & Design firm Charcoal Project. She was accused of cheating the firm to the tune of Rs 1.87 crore. The company alleged Sussanne Khan misrepresented herself as an architect to win a contract in the year 2013 but failed to complete the task.
The cheating case damaged the reputation of Sussanne Khan and she even threatened to sue the Real Estate Company for making baseless allegations. However, Judgement of High Court came as a big relief to the Single Woman.
